A PICTURE BOOK SERIES FOR KIDS,
MADE BY KIDS.
In the biggest nest in the world lay the biggest egg in the world. Inside that egg sat an outstanding ostrich called Olive.
With a knock, and a tap, and a pop, and a crack, Olive stepped out with one foot, then another.
Next, without a moment of thought, and without looking back, Olive started walking...

What Are The Stories About?
These picture books are modern day fables, written in a classical style. They teach children to celebrate individual differences. They show that making others happy can make you happy. Also, that we should try to make the most of difficult situations in life.
Olive is a baby ostrich who, the moment she is born, sets off on an adventure around the world. She meets various quirky and interesting characters along the way. In the series we also learn the early life backstories of Olive's new friends.
In a world of AI generated pictures and stories, this series goes back to basics. No boring pictures by adults or AI, but instead the young reader views the stories through the imagination and fantasy of other kids.
What did our young readers think of the books?
''I really enjoyed doing my ocean drawing for Wolfgang The Whale. I liked that everyone is different in the stories. My friends and I particularly love the characters Olive and Captain Butterfly.''

Supporting the Heart of Break Charity
No young person should feel alone in the world.
Break make sure they don’t.
They walk alongside children and young people in, around and leaving care when we’re needed most.
Through fostering, residential homes, wellbeing support, mentoring, and their leaving care service, they help children and young people build their confidence, create strong relationships and experience new opportunities.
Simply put, Break care differently.
More than support, Break offer lifelong care, love and ambition so that young people can grow beyond what they thought was possible.
Please note: Around 1% of pages may have minor print issues, such as faint lines or small blotches. We’ve chosen not to reprint these as the additional time and cost of doing so would reduce the funds raised for charity. For the same reasons, the books are printed in A4 booklet format and are comb bound. Thank you for understanding. If you’re unhappy with the quality of your books, please contact us to arrange a refund or replacement.
